The wedding of Liz and Dom at Ellenborough Park was a beautiful, intimate affair. Greeted with glorious winter sun and melting snow, Ellenborough Park looked as spectacular as ever and provided us with a beautiful canvas to create some stunning wedding photographs.

We started the day by mingling with the guests as they were arriving and enjoying the sumptuous surroundings of Ellenborough. As they were warming themselves in the bar and catching up with each other Dom was enjoying a few moments of calm in the gallery. Once the guests had filed across the courtyard, the Gallery was filled with the anticipation and excitement of the imminent nuptials.

The heartfelt ceremony went almost without a hitch; the only hiccup was when Liz struggled with putting on Dom’s wedding ring, which caused much laughter. Once the ceremony had been completed everyone congregated out in the courtyard which was drenched in beautiful, winter sun. Liz and Dom greeted their guests before retreating into the Del A Bear suite to thaw out!

The guests were entertained with speeches from Dom and Liz’s father before they enjoyed their wedding breakfast.

Sara and Andrew, Eastington Park, 21st January 2012

The first wedding of the year goes to Andrew and Sara at Eastington Park.

I have always thought that Eastington park lends itself well to wedding photography, with so much to offer and it lived up to my expectations.

The newly renovated Eastington Park is a beautiful venue and I had the pleasure of photographing its first wedding of the year, within its fresh new interior.

The day started with Sara, the bubbles were flowing in the bridal suite whilst makeup was carefully being applied and hair beautifully styled, the calm atmosphere only being interrupted by excited laughter.

Andrew (groom) and Andrew (best man) arrived along with a swathe of guests and Eastington Park started to come alive with the buzz of a wedding. Families catching up and the anticipation of the day filled the air, the excitement grew as everyone awaited the arrival of their bride.

After an emotional and at points humorous ceremony the wedding party had a chance to catch up with friends and make new acquaintances whilst exploring the sumptuous new furnishings of Eastington Hall. Once the reception was well under way and the beautiful photos had been taken, the wedding party enjoyed delicious food provided by Crown Catering, their food and service never fail to amaze me.

Once the speeches had concluded, the guests retired to the bar and drawing room to relax before the evening entertainment, this started with Sarah and Andrews’ intimate first dance.

I hope the photographs below show the truly amazing day and reflected the fun and friendly atmosphere which we were lucky enough to experience. Easting Park’s new life was certainly started in style.

A taster from the wedding of Phil and Dana at Grittleton House.

I personally like to keep my style evolving and developing, this is what keeps me energised and fresh. Below is a little taster from the wedding I shot on Saturday; I love it because it is so far removed from what I would normally shoot and really reflects the venue. Anyhow, all thoughts and comments are much appreciated.

Sharon and Jason Birtsmorton Court, Worcestershire 22nd July 2011

The wedding of Sharon and Jason took place at the beautiful Birtsmorton Court in Worcestershire. The ceremony was set outside in the amazing white gardens and we were all treated to some very rare summer sunshine. After the ceremony the guests enjoyed the drinks reception in the gardens and on the terrace before making their way to the marquee for their wedding breakfast. After the speeches the bridal party enjoyed the summer evening before the surprise fireworks and sky lantern release.

Mark and Annie, 16th July 2011 Berkeley Castle

We woke to the sound of heavy rain on the morning or Mark and Annie’s wedding but as we arrived at Annie’s parent’s house the sun shone and continued to shine for the rest of the day. We were greeted by an excited but relaxed bridal party who were enjoying the pre-wedding preparations and set to work including photographing the two Labradors in their colour co-ordinated ribbon collars. Following a beautiful service at St Mary’s at Wotton Under Edge the bridal party made their way to Berkeley Castle with Mark and Annie being driven in Annie’s Uncle’s Bentley. The sun continued to shine whilst drinks were severed on the gun terrace by Phil and the wonderful team at Napier catering. The guests were then treated to a tour of the castle before sitting down to eat the wedding breakfast. After the speeches the cake was cut with the family ceremonial sword and the newlywed couple then delighted the guests with their first dance.
